Through crisis and beyond: join us now
Help the country through coronavirus and build a better Citizens Advice for the future
At this time of national crisis, your skills are needed more than ever. Citizens Advice are looking for designers, researchers, and digital specialists to join our mission and help the most vulnerable.
In these unprecedented times, Citizens Advice are at the frontline of helping people to face the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.
Our digital services are seeing record-breaking demand, with around 2.2 million people seeking advice from our website every week during lockdown. We’re responding rapidly to people’s changing needs, and helping those who need us most. Our data gives an “early warning of the different challenges coming down the road as people navigate the economic consequences of Covid-19” (Dame Gillian Guy, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice).
Our teams are working hard to provide the best advice for people in difficult situations. Our advice on benefits, sick pay, energy bills, unemployment, and redundancy have seen up to a 2100% increase in traffic. Demand has evolved over time; with furlough information pages skyrocketing during March, and redundancy advice increasing by 262% during June and July.
We’re hiring the following roles effective immediately:
Senior User Researcher [closing date 31st August] and Senior Service Designer[closing date 4th September] for our national Help to Claim service, supporting over millions of people to claim Universal Credit.
We’ll be updating this list as new roles become available — with more coming up in the next few weeks — so keep an eye on this page.
